I have a bit of advice you picked the top of the line cpu.

300 usd.

how much is your total budget? and read the link.

I find size matters. Do you want a big case a small case a medium case.

Do you game?

mostly HT or both?

I could say you want the top of the line cpu for why? you don't game much you may not want to over clock. you can get a i5 3570 for a hundred less.

as for mobos small build I love the asrock

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157312 itx from you can use a nice msata ssd in it for your boot drive

for a medium build I love the asus maximus gene v

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131830

for a large build I love the gigabyte sniper

(this mobo is tricky to setup) not for a beginner build

its is costly. Once I set it up it is rock solid

Spelling aside....Asrock makes some nice boards that are easy on the wallet.

Which case did you purchase or plan on purchasing?
