Motherboard selection

The Asus A8N SLI Premium appears to be decent, but reviews from a variety of sources show it to be a finicky and somewhat tricky board to work with. The Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI does not appear to have a great ability for overclocking if I ever think I might want to really be stupd and try it myself.

Besides the two motherboards that I have listed, do folks have other quality selections to suggest? I have read the reviews on the new MSI K8N Diamond Plus motherboard and it seems rather impressive as well. What would you say are the top 3 companies for motherboards and quality?

The three you mentioned are basically the top three except you have to add the DFI in there too. The Gigabyte is decent and stable as long as you do not plan on OC'ing. The DFI and Asus are mostly desired by OC'ers. MSI for some reason had some problems with their Neo series but not with their Diamond. IMO, Asus will be my preferred mobo followed by Gigabyte.

I have also been checking out the DFI LANParty UT SLI-DR Expert, and it appears to be a decent board as well. In addition, the Asus A8N32 - SLI Deluxe appears to be a pretty serious competitor as well.

ARGH!!! The decisions!!!

MSI Diamond Plus is actually good also although pricey! It does have a cool NB cooler, though, depending on your CPU cooler this could be a plus or liability. But it sure looks cool.
