Motherboard Recommendations

Couple of questions you need to answer first:
1. What's your budget?
2. Do you want sli/xfire/single gfx
3. How many ide devices do you have?
 
Too ad to the questions above, will you be overclocking?

If you answer yes, or even if you don't, I can recommend the DFI LANPARTY nF4 Ultra-D or the SLI-DR... depending on whether or not you need SLI. However do know that with a DFI LANPARTY board you need a minimum of a 480w power supply. Visit www.DFI-Street.com (the official DFI support forum) for more information on DFI motherboards. Register and ask questions if you see what you like.
 
Is $800 for 1 MoBo and 2 video cards? Probably...
Alright... MoBo: asus a8n32-sli deluxe
Video cards (x2): 7900gt (do a little vmod and add 2 vf900's)
that should bring you to about $740.
 
Yeah, one motherboard, two videocards, that'd do the trick. Any other recommendations? Just gathering as many second opinions that I can before I make the choice.
 
DFI SLI-DR Expert and a single 7950GX2. Costs less and performs better.

You do not need dual x16 slots. It DOES NOT make a difference no matter what anyone tells you.

It will when games become multithreaded and ultilize the x16 pathway.
