MotherBoard Recommendation?

Hi, its been about a year since I could keep up with with hardware, might as well be 100 with as fast as things change, anyway I friend just gave me an Athlon XP 2000+ and I was wondering what the best mobo for it would be, I am looking to spend under $100 preferably below $80 but if the extra 20 bucks will give a huge performance increase I would be willing, any suggestions? I rarely overclock anymore but do game a fair amount when I have time.
Thanks

Are you saying the Epox would be skimping? Not trying to be a smart a$$ just checking your reasoning.

i would say it might be. read the reviews on the 8rda. they are mixed. i personally have the asus and couldnt be happier. spend the extra $20. you get what you pay for

This will be a third system though, and I don't need the best motherboard out there, simply something that is stable and reliable with decent performance for a decent price.
Thanks

You definitely want an Nforce2 board.
It is by far the best choice for an Athlon system right now.
Personally, I would buy Asus, Abit, or Epox.
