I want a few opions on a motherboard purchase. Since the Asus P4PE has come out the Asus P4B533-E mobo has dropped in price by alittle over $100 (in my area anyway). The P4PE (basic version with just USB 2.0 and 10/100 LAN) cost around $219.95, where the delux version of the P4B533-E now costs S179.95. I would like to pair these boards with either a 1.8A or a 2.0A P4 proc and do alittle overclocking with my goal being about 2.6GHz. What do people here think? Should I get the basic P4PE or go with the delux P4B533-E even though it is an older mobo than the P4PE.

By the way, all prices are in Canadian dollars in case your wondering.;)

p4pe has more features
p4b533 was a good overclocking board
im not saying p4pe is a bad overclocking board either

i think p4pe would be better choice if you are looking to use teh extra features now/later
if not p4b533

P4B533 is a fine mobo. I'd be tempted to go that route myself. I've used 3 of them and they work really slick.
