I have a MSI motherboard MS-6340 ver. 1, running a duron 750mhz, pci video card, 64mb SDRAM, IDE harddrive, floppy drive & no cdrom. No other cards are installed. 250watt power supply. This board has onboard sound. The problem i'm having is this, i installed the mobo and the other components turned on the power switch and it booted to windows fine, everything installed with no conflicts. I checked system settings and left the system running for about an hour then shut it down. After that i turned it on and off a couple of times with no problems. I then tried to power it on again at a later time and it would not boot at all. (i had NOT changed or added anything) I checked the power cords and it had power, i switched the power switch on the power supply on and off and when i did that the p/s fan would turn on for a couple seconds and then shut off but the system still would not boot. I then shorted the CMOS jumper and tried to boot again but would not boot. I tried another battery no change. Any ideas on what could be the problem?? I have searched alot to find anyone who's had this problem but no luck. Thanks

Sorry bou't the title, but i wanted to get read:D

You sure you didn't get a lightning spike or current spike? if so, maybe... it fried the board. Hopefully not though.
