I have a YS Tech adjustable fan as well, but an Asus A7N8X Deluxe mobo. The settings I use are type /2, divider 2. It seems to be accurate.

Dunno about your case fan. Perhaps you're using a 3pin header that doesn't support hardware monitoring. Many boards have 3 or 4 fan headers, but only 2 have monitoring support.

I'll try that

btw, is there any way to display the MBM voltages with coolmon (already have the mbm fan rpms and cpu temps integrated into coolmon)

Well, no such luck today, I think the manual voltage regulator or whatever (knob adjustment) on the ys fan is messing up its speed sensor output. When I crank the speed down manually the RPM's INCREASE. It will do this even in BIOS PC health

Also I tried just leaving the adj knob at 100% then setting up speedfan according to their instructions. When I got everything set-up I would see speed fan adjusting the fan speed on the panel, however MBM showed the rpms stayed the same and the fan indeed stayed at full throttle.

Advice?

For whatever reason, when I'm sat in the BIOS monitoring screen and I adjust my fan speed at all the BIOS will totally freeze. Have to reboot after that. :p
