I have older pc I would like to get to run few games at min, like EQ but I keep getting this error:
* This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found.* Your machine is not ready for the upgrade. Please look in DXUpgrade.txt for instructions on how to upgrade your machine.
I have reinstalled DX9C andeven put in a GF4 TI 4200 card that I know has full 2.0 shader DX9C support from the other pc and I still get that error. Is my motherboard which is an old BH6 likely limiting the AGP 4X and card functions? The manual only list AGP with no info about it, likely original I guess before even 2x 4x, etc.
