i just got a 900 mhz athlon rig off a friend of mine that he couldnt get working, so now im gonna try to fix it up. it all works but there is 1 major problem. the whole system "locks up" about 5-10 seconds after it turns on. if im quick enough, i can get into bios, but it will just freeze up in there too. its really odd because it will work fine, but after about 5 seconds it just freezes up. it normaly will make it to where its loading devices and it will lock up. but its not a device isuue because it will lock up when im in bios after about 3 seconds. does it need a new mobo?
