just about to install my first motherboard an need some information,do i need to use fibre washers between the brass stand offs and the board or not,the manuel does,t say 😱
 
for myself i have always used some sort of fiber washer between motherboard and standoffs

I did not bother with any washers when I installed my Epox 8KHA+,all I did was make sure that the brass stand offs were in the right places to the board.
 
new boards make sure that they dont put any circuitry around the parts were you screw the motherboard in...you should be fine.
 
Yes, no washers are needed. Make sure the standoffs are all the correct positions before screwing the mobo in.
 
I did not bother with any washers when I installed my Asus A7V266 either since there is nothing near the stand offs to short out. Just made sure the brass stand offs were in the right places relating to the holes on the board and went to town.
