Hey guys,
I have a Gateway G6-233 Multimedia system.. whenever I boot up, I get an error message saying: "Boot Sector not found" "Please insert a Bootable Cartridge and press a key." First I tried to check out if there could possibly be a problem with the hard drive, so i swapped it with a brand new one, and got the same error message. Then I tried it without any hard drives connected and got the same thing. Im guessing it is a motherboard problem. Would anybody know how to go about fixing the problem?? Thanks..

No, but if you want to continue with the same cpu, I suggest you check out computer geeks for a replacement. They occasionally get gateway boards dirt cheap. I saw a board for your cpu for only $11, but don't know if it will fit your gateway case. I would e-mail them.
