I am putting together parts for a Seti machine. I need ram, cpu, and powersupply

Before I went ahead and order all of the parts, I screwed the motherboard down to my case. Plugged all of the connections and booted. Green light on motherboard came on and the northbridge fan spun

NO CPU, video card or hd was connected but I am guessing once all of my parts are put together it should work as I hope

The best test is to try to see if it can post once you have added the ram and video card. If it boots and allows you to enter the BIOS, then you know you are well on your way to a successful build. If it doesn't post, then you have a minimum of possible problems to diagnose. Hopefully if you have any problems you would either get diagnostic beeps, or led's on your motherboard to point you in the right direction for corrective action. Good Luck.

Theres always the chance it couldn't work. No way really telling it works 100% correctly w/o all the parts in. Just put the rest of the parts in, and try.

Though there is probally no problem with it.
