Motherboard for P4 2.8ghz

Hey all! This is my first post here on Anandtech. I needed to get some opinions from places other than Xoxide and PC Perspective. So hi, and on with the thread!

I need recommendations on a motherboard for a Intel P4 2.8ghz gaming computer I'm building for a friend. I've never built an Intel system before, and don't know what motherboards are the best for the money.

I need a board with lots of features for around $100. Can't be much over $100 because this friend is a little short on cash.

So if anyone could give me some advice I would really appreciate it! Thanx!

btw I've used the mobo personally and it's fantastic, the fastest P4 board out there and stable as a rock.

Abit IS7

the asus is also a good option

Some people on other forums have been recommending the Asus P4S800D-E Deluxe and the Abit IS7 to me. Since everyone seems to be deadlocked on which is better, I think I'll go with the IS7 since it's a few bucks cheaper.
