Well as the above title states, I am going to be building a new system starting in September, I am trying to figure out which Motherboard I should buy. I've seen a lot of opinions and a lot of reviews but I'd like to hear back from a community that, in general, knows what it's talking about.

I am going to be purchasing either an e6600 or a e6700 and a 7950 GX2 graphics card, which I know doesn't require SLI and I'm wondering what cards you folks would reccomend. I am not looking to spend more then $400 but I would really like to keep it somewhere under $250-300 if at all possible. I more then likely won't be doing a huge amount of overclocking, if any at all, so a card that is very good at that isn't a strict requirement.

Any input would be well appreciated!

ps. This will be for a gaming system so a higher performance board would be good.

No kidding? a GX2 board will be used in a gaming rig?.

I would recommend reading the Conroe Buying Guide, however, it sounds like if perf > oc then wait for the Intel 590 Chipset from Nvidia.

DFI Lanparty board will be coming out with it soon.

Get a P5W-DH. Fits every need you described.

Corren - What's wrong with 7950GX2? Also, overclock and performance go hand in hand. If NForce 590 does abysmal FSB (like max 310~320), it won't beat a 4.0GHz E6700 + 7950GX2 combo, even with 7900GTX SLI.
