Motherboard Error Post 27 Help

Booted up fine this morning and took me all the way to my main screen without issue. After about a minute the error beeps started and my Post read 27 which is "8042 keyboard controller test failure."

What does that mean and how do I rectify it? I checked my keyboard connection and it is firmly in place.
