Motherboard & CPU advice

I am thinking of buying a new motherboard and processor, preferably as a bundle.

Anyway, I just want to get something better and faster than my AMD 800 & ABIT mobo.

Basically I do a lot of photoshop work as well as an increasing amount of 3D art rendering with stuff like Bryce 5, 3dsmax6 and some other apps. I do a little gaming as well, BUT thats not really important for me at all. I just need something that can process and render my work quickly and reliably.

Could someone give me a couple of suggestions for good motherboards that would be ideal for my use? I am looking to spend only a couple hundred or so...or less if possible. But hey, give me what you got.

Thanks

That certainly beats the mobile barton I recommended, just more money. Either way is fine, just depends on budget. Both of these will be better than the $245 P4 3.2 and mobo.

The 2800+ doesn't beat a 3.2 northwood (well it does in VERY few cases). I mean look at some benchies and give Intel some credit.
