motherboard compactibility..?

hi guys... i wanted to know that whether i can insert my old core2duo 4300 1.8ghz processor in a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard. i tried goggling it but didn't get a proper answer. i wanted upgrade my pc bit by bit starting with motherboard and ram, cause my old motherboard (GA-945GZM-S2) would only support up to 2GB ram. so i wanted to buy a new motherboard to increase the ram and then the processor later . Please tell me whether my old processor(core2duo 4300 1.8) work on GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3L .. also i was thinking of getting G.Skill - F2-6400CL4D- 4G BPI, is it good ? Thank you for your help..🙂
