Hello all. I need help deciding on a motherboard and CPU setup for under $400. The CPU has to be Intel; I am not buying AMD. I will be using this mostly for gaming so I was thinking 2500k or 3570k would be best for me. I am not sure if I will overclock it; if I do, it will only be a little bit, nothing outrageous.
Things I would like the motherboard to have but are definitely not required are: a PCI slot (the old one lol), support for the usb 3.0 on my case, and the ability to run 2 video cards at once.
My current components are:
Raidmax ATX Midtower Case
16gb Corsair Vengeance at 1600mhz (4 by 4gb)
Evga GTX 460 Superclocked
Seagate 1.5tb HDD
Asus DVD Drive
Rosewill 630w PSU
If possible I would like to get a CPU, motherboard, and a small SSD for $450. That is not a requirement, just something I would like to have if the price is right.
