Mother Board? Processor? PSU? Having some issues...

Well hi, a week and a half ago I left my computer on while I went golfing. I came home to my computer being off, and it would not boot up. I opened it up, and watched what happened when I hit the power switch... the cpu fan BUDGED, as if it wanted to go, but didn't go. So, I'm thinking, oh great...my PSU (fortron blue) is dead... Tested it in another computer, and sure enough, it didn't boot up (although the blue light was on on the back? wtf?). RMAed it to NewEgg where I got it last January...

Received a new one today. Plugged everything in, and I got the SAME result. I almost began crying... -_- Ok, so my dad and I decided to try some things out to see if something else may be causing the problem..

We found out that if we unplugged the +12 volt connector from the PSU to the motherboard (MSI K8TNEO) that the cpu fan starts up at full power... What's the deal? We even tried my old RaidMax PSU and the same issue happens... it HAS to be my Motherboard, doesnt' it?

Also, if it IS my motherboard, what's the likelihood my processor is destroyed? Or is that possible...?

---What do you guys recommend I do? If it is the motherboard, what is a quality motherboard to buy.

RMA the motherboard, I guess. Check your warranty, because it might be fried. Take your other components out, to prevent any further damage to them.
