ok to sum everything up.

im making a htpc with a p3 700mhz and i need to update my bios so it will support 120 gig

comp info.

comp usa model number cpchs

bios : Award Modular Bios v 4.51 p6, BIOS REV 1.02.02


And i look on the mobo and cant seem to find the freaking manuc.??

any help?

If you're able to locate the FCC ID#, go here. It may help. It should be on the board somewhere.

CPU-Z might help you determine exactly which bios you need from comp usa, if you can get thr pooter running enough to use it.

tried the comp usa website and Ask Pcmodem.

nada on both trys.

Rarely is the actual manufacturer printed on the PCB, but typically there's a model number. There's no model number silk screened on the mobo that in larger print than all of the component labels? Like a Biostar board rarely says "Biostar," but an M7NCD will say "M7NCD" on it. Know what I mean?
