MSNBC has video also. . It made me almost cry for that little girl. I admit I spank my children, but I would never punch any of my kids or grab them by their hair and furiously shake them. I wonder what kind of lame excuse this woman is going to have.
One case doesn't justify the whole population. All my siblings turn out fine w/o our parents laying a hand on us. What's more surprising is the fact that I am Chinese and you know how Chinese parents are known for using beating as a discipline.Originally posted by: Spagina
My younger brother is the posterchild for what happens if you don't discipline your kids. When I was younger I received PLENTY of discipline and I turned out damn fine, but I think my parent's lost the heart for discipline with my younger brother. All I will say is he is way out of friggin' control now. He is 18 now, and proceeds to act like a 3 year old brat 24 hours a day. He has never held a job, sits in his room and plays games all day, milks my parent's for cash, curses and verbally abuses anyone and everyone, and goes to school for 2 hours a day. This isn't even teenage angst, this is unaccountability for his behavior and actions and this is how many of the new kids are being raised, so be VERY AFRAID and hope some of them get the sense knocked into them sooner than later.
That being said, this mother lost total control. In no way does a very young child like that deserve that kind of abuse. My brother on the other hand though![]()
This b!tch broke the golden rule of parenting. Never hit/spank your child in anger.
Professional con artists actually. "Travellers" and a history of theft and fraud have been well-documented.Toogood grew up as part of a group of Texas-based Irish Travellers, itinerant laborers who often make their living with home-improvement and business-repair work, such as paving, painting and roofing
Common for female "Travellers."Mishawaka authorities said they had no indication Toogood has ever been accused of abuse. However, they said she did have a history of retail store fraud.
KIM: This incident happened after leaving a Kohl's store. In May, Fort Worth police issued another warrant for Gorman's arrest after she failed to appear in court to face theft charges stemming from an alleged March 27 shoplifting incident at a Kohl's store there.
OK...here's what I think happened. The episode happened after the woman left the store angry over being refused a cash refund, authorities said.

She turned herself in today. Doctors who examined the girl said she had no signs of injury (???). Her lawyers said this was a one time episode, and that there isn't a history of abuse.![]()

its probably true, she let her anger go out of control and now the child will end up in foster care (where worse things might happen) and grow up without a mother and the mother , because of the publicity of the case will end up getting long jail time, while most child abusers get off easy
but at least the 98% of the people posting here to lynch her will be satisfied
