Am I the only one who is EXTREMLY eager to play FEAR?? They keep delaying the release date and I am getting a bit angry. So, with that said, what game are you waiting for, Quake 4 or FEAR??

Fileplanet.com?? And I dont want to sound dumb or anything, but what exactly is a BETA?? A friend of mine said never play Betas because they might mess your system up, or something like that??

I want you to box up your computer and send it back to dell.

EDIT: A beta is a program that has not been fully completed. Things havent been implemented bugs havent been fixed etc. It is possible that a beta could cause some trouble with your computer. In most cases you should be fine playing a beta, especially for a game from a high tier group (excluding EA

I'm hoping it becomes the new FPS multiplayer king like UT2k4 is now.

CS:S etc. (those types of games) don't count IMO, since they are too realistic & dull.

FEAR because its done buy the NOLF folks and I loved the No One Lives Forever games. As for Quake 4..well.. I thought Quake 2 was a total borefest and the pics of Quake 4 look ok.. I dunno..a bit tired of the dark, industrial look.

Played F.E.A.R. but it is lacking imo. Looking forward to Quake 4, but truthfully, my money is on Prey.

The FEAR multiplayer beta that I played seemed pretty harsh quality. Nothing as polished as NOLF1 or 2. That worries me. Yea, its still a beta, but I'd expect basic mouse look and strafe movements to work as expected. Had a very cludgy feel to it.
