Look for the disclaimer on these movies "some scenes have been recreation of actual events". Though parts of the movies are real, some are pretty obvious stagings.

Oh, and for pure gore enjoyment, try Men Behind the Sun, I've heard it's among the worst.

Because if it doesn't have a plot, and we're talking just showing off violence, then I'd say the Faces of Death series is pretty darn violent too.

No it has a plot

Can you get all of the above movies at Blockbuster, or are they banned? I remember someone said you can get the Ichi movie at BBuster, just curious

Hard Boiled by Woo. I heard it has the highest number of people dead vs any other movie.

Your forgetting about Passion Of the Christ. I've seen that movie so many times and each time you shudder watch some of the gory parts

#1- American Pie

Biggs inflicted quite a bit of violence on that apple pie, IMO

I think there's an R rated version that was released in the US, but it's going to have quite a bit cut out of it.
That's the only version Blockbuster would have, as they don't rent unrated or NC-17 movies.

For the longest time I thought Hellraiser II was the most violent movie. Obviously, I haven't watched much foreign films.

Hard Boiled was pretty violent but mainly gun wounds (I think it holds a record of some sort for people dying, not counting movies where you see a million people dying from a bomb, but just looking at individual deaths), no gory type deaths with guts flying everywhere.

Yeah from IMDB:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0104684/trivia
# Bodycount: 230

# Has more on screen deaths than any other film.

do the faces of death series count as a movie??

wtf is this "Faces of Death" ?

I believe it's something along the lines of RealTV but where the people actually die. Banned in many DC++ hubs
