Unless Subaru has redesigned this finally the cup holder in the Legacy. When you use it the cups block access to the radio controls.

Those stupid seat belts that move when you open the door on my friends Probe annoy the fvck out of me. I also hate the turn signals on the mirror and the back-up video screens. If you don't have the skill to manuver your vehicle without electronic aids you should not be driving it imo.
No. They stopped making motorized seatbelts in the 1994 model year, when dual airbags became standard equipment by federal law on passenger cars.Originally posted by: FrankyJunior
Oh God. Do they still make cars with those stupid things in there? I hated those things. I can put my own sealbelt on (and do every time) thank you very much.Originally posted by: AmericanRebel

Inflexibility of speed among individual drivers is a major cause of congestion and accidents. Think prick in the left passing lane doing exactly 3 mph over the limit and won't move or speed up for anyone. Why? His cruise control is on, even in the city, and he don't turn it off for no one. That's bad driving period. The safest driving is continually adjusting to the flow of traffic.Originally posted by: mugs

1. Went to Houston 3 weeks ago and rented a Kia Sorrento. the most useless feature on that car was the options in the display where it list the outside temp & direction, well i pushed the button to see what the gas milage was on it and it didnt give me that, instead it listed the altimeter and barometric pressure... :disgust:
2. Went to houston last sat and rented a Cadillac DeVille, nice car and the V-8 Nordstrom engine hauled serious ass, but when I put the car in reverse both the side mirrors would tilt down so i was looking at the ground. I guess that is good if you are parking next to a curb but backing out of parking spot it was most stupid. The other useless feature on the caddy was the steering wheel warmer. Now if they made a steering wheel cooler for those hot summer days where your hand melts to the wheel, that would be cool.
ok, your turn list your most useless features on a car.
The shift knob vibrates because it is connected to the transmission via solid metal linkage. This is typical and normal of cars with a longitudinal drivetrain layout. The vibration would only seem unusual IMO if you were used to tranverse layout cars (i.e. most FWD) that use cable shift linkage.Originally posted by: phantom309

"Dual Climate Control" - This means that the HVAC has two identical controls, located 6" apart, on the center of the dash. This is so that the person sitting 8" to your left can theoretically have his/her own "climate". If you're alone in the car, you have to adjust both of them to get the car to change temperature.
Heated seats which take exactly as long to warm up as the car's regular heater does.
My car is also equipped with the "Ultra Vibrating Shift Knob" which might be of some use for extremely lonely female motorists, but which just makes my arm go numb.
