Most technologically advanced clock radio?

I have a problem. I always hit my alarm clocks too hard in the morning. I hate waking up at 10.

Whats the most technologically advanced clock radio money can buy? I want the kind of radio thats going to wake me up nice and peacefully.

It'd also be pretty cool if it said ouch if i hit it too hard, or cried if i hit it too many times. But I guess noones come up with that one yet eh?

I don't think too many manufacturers take the time to work on it...If anything, you can get the one at Sharper Image.

I saw this one that has a projector on it and it projects the time in big numbers on on the ceiling so you can set it away from you and it prevents you from smacking the clock but you can still read it off the ceiling.

There is one that sets itself once you plug it in and changes it for Daylight Savings Time. I saw it on an infomerical once.

You could use your computer as an alarm as there are many shareware and freeware programs that you can get for a minimal fee that will allow you to play wavs, or mp3's or whatnot at a designated time to act like an alarm clock. Not sure if this would meet your needs or not, but just a random thought.
