Just finished the game. This was quite a shock allright. A real bummer after finally killing all those striders.

another shocking moment for me was in Modern Warfare 1 when the nuke goes off and your marine character gets killed.

Definitely agree with the scene in Quake4 when you're on the conveyer. The whole time, I'm expecting "something" to happen, like an explosion that you break free from, a team of marines to barge in, some hulk-like escape, etc. Then the saw just comes down and bbzzzzzzz. Well, was not expecting that!

Also, definitely jumped a few times when turning around to see an effing creepy little girl behind me in FEAR.
