I got a DFI mobo in the past and hated it. Way too picky to get stable. Didn't bother selling it and tossed it.
I had a DFI Ultra-D, and that sucker was rock stable, the only issue I had was with that cheap chipset fan they used, that failed way too soon.

I have bought, MSI, Gigabyte, ABIT and ECS motherboards and never had to RMA one.

Abit had a via chipset if i am not mistaken.
But the chipset/cpu combination had an lockup issue with durons and athlons with a fractional multiplier (x.5) but got it to work flawlessly by disabling any acpi powersavings.
After that i bought a ECS sis735 based motherboard and it worked fine but performance was holding me back in games.
The MSI had an socket A to nforce2 chipset with 128 bit memory controller . After about 6 years the ethernet stopped working after a system power on and i could not get it to function again.
A year after that the xfx 6600gt (about 6 years old as well)broke down, memory or gpu just stopped functioning, huge ascii characters and colored squares everywhere.
The Gigabyte board (A75) i currently use.

As it seems now, my next board will probably will be a AMD B350 chipset based motherboard.
Highly likely a gigabyte based one. They are standard dual bios, although i never had any issues.
I only had one crash so far and that was when firefox tried to load several (AT FORUM) pages riddled with youtube at once and w10 crashed with some weird error.
But that only happened once in January 2017.
Besides that crash, everything is surprisingly stable.
A friend of mine had several crashes while playing doom. I never have encountered any but i have not finished the game yet. (Knocking on wood).

There is one thing, i do not like that apps that manufacturers bundle with their motherboards.

ASUS i never bought as a motherboard. Never liked their boards.
I bought a ASUS dvd writer and it stopped working within half a year while hardly been used.

I love MSI & ASUS. Gigabyte mobos are unreliable.
In my country, Gigabyte AM4 mobos have many bios issue.
