Most recommended Nvidia video card brand?

Exactly, call them up and say "its dead!" they'll have you RMA it (with the original heatsink on it) so long as you didn't physically damage it by putting on a different HS or something.

Nice. I guess I'll be getting EVGA when I get an NV card!

AND I just installed my new eVGA 7800GT today, the 16 model, clocked at 460/1100, and I hooked it up and sure enough it runs at 470/1100, making it a normally $20 or so more 17 model. That plus the free quake 4 in the box have made me feel very happy about my purchase.

Leadtek was awesome last generation, but not to many people are mentioning them in this thread. Has their quality gone down?

yeah, leadtek rules they've a good reputation w/ their 3D cards & they're also an award winning manufacturer.

P.S. Don't they even let you overclock? Can someone confirm this? That's freakin' insane.
