My V10 bootlooped New Year's day. Just sent it in, will see what happens with it.

Based on this I tried to register an RMA here. It says my warranty was only 1 year. :(

I've seen people say that they sent their devices in and LG fixed them for free even after the year was up (saw at least one person that wasn't even an original owner and didn't even provide proof of purchase). Oop, just saw pete6032 already mentioned that.

LG will give you a free UPS shipping label to send your phone to them and they will asses it. My guess is if you have a mint g4 that does not power up then it will be fixed free. My G4 lived in an otterbox and had a glass protector all its life so I didn't even need to talk with them, I simply sent it in and checked the online status.

Well, I'm glad to say that LG fixed my phone for free (even though it was over 2 years since I'd bought it, so well out of the 1 year warranty). Weirdly their diagnosis said something about it not charging through the USB port (which was not a problem I was having), but they replaced the main/RF board, and its all working fine now. Even got the Android update I wasn't able to get before, although its still only 6/Marshmallow, which is what already 2 years behind?). Seems to be working fine, although I still need to finish setting it back up fully.

"proceeded under individual arbitration in Los Angeles, was settled" . So unless you were signed up with the law firm at the time it happened, you get nadda. Although you can file your own complaint and use this as the bases of your claim.
