I'm from SoCal. Everyone here is like a raider fan. So is it the former or the latter?

I have never seen so many fans arrested at Seahawks games than Raiders fans..... They were of different races, but they were all trash.... Just an observation.

its because a lot of them were probably raised around the time the raiders were in los angeles and became fans then.

It's a gang thing. My wife actually asked a lot of mexicans she worked with...one was wearing a raiders jersey once, and she was like "who's their starting QB?"

He had no idea.

You can't even wear Raiders jerseys, hats, or other clothing at a lot of LA County schools. To be fair though they've brought this upon themselves. They are known for adding past trouble-makers to their rosters, and their fans dress like beings straight outta hell.

QFT, IN the past I've ask people either wearing a cap, t-shirt or jersey if they were a "fan" of the team. The normal reply is yeah. Then you ask them a simple question about the team or player and they dont have a clue as of what you are asking/talking.

thats not really fair this year though seeing as how the raiders themselves didnt even know who the starting qb was until the last guy chimed in "not it!". :p

yep. In the early 90's they wore nothing but Raiders hats and Kings hats.
Kings is the ultimate wtf in gang attire.

Yup which is why they changed their colors and added purple. You don't see gang members wearing Kings clothing anymore do you.

I hate the Raiders and I hate Raiders fans. I went to a Bills game in Los Angeles during the early 90s (Bills won BTW) and fortunately I had the sense to not wear anything that would affiliate me with the Bills. Bunch of fucking thugs.

I won't go to a Chargers game when they're playing the Raiders simply because of their rude, obnoxious, jackass fans. I've never encountered any fans as annoying at any sporting event I've been to...and I've been to many.

I had no idea that there was anything gang related about the Raiders. Got any links to info?

Gangs choose colors. Gang/thug wannabes choose colors.

Raiders are black and silver with a pirateesque logo--perfect for them.

For normal street wear, it's obvious why a guy preening himself to be a "badass" would want to affiliate himself with this symbol.
