Most Iranians go crazy if you call them arabs.

Why do Iranian's or "Persians" freak out if you called them an arab. After all they seem to take sides with them one day then hate them the next.


So why do Persians hate arabs or get insulted when you call them an arab?

Because they're not Arabs. They don't even speak Arabic (their language is Farsi). Probably something like the racism against the Irish in the 1880s.

Persia(Iran) has a long history of warfare with Arab countries.
In fact if Iran gets the bomb most Arabs will think of it as a Persian bomb not a Muslim bomb.
It has been predicted that if Iran does get the bomb than Saudi Arabia and Egypt will feel compelled to get bombs of their own.
Not to mention that Iran is predominately Shia and only in Iraq is Shia a majority in any Arab country. Most of the Middle East is Sunni as are most Muslims in the world.
If you think there is not much difference between Shia and Sunni just remember that the difference is similiar to that between Catholics and Protestants.
And we know how well that worked out in Ireland.
and btw how far does an Iranian have to go to get 'crazy"?

Yes i guess they take pride..

but why would other arab nations need nukes?.. They dont intend on using them against arabs.

They speak about whiping Israel so i understand israels concern but with all honesty if they hit Israel they will whipe out the Palestinians that they so much have defended lately too.

I would like to seea conventional war between Israel and iran.

I bet Israel would have them crushed within 2-3 days(majority). 1-6 weeks all.

If Israel actually sent in Armor and troops. Probably 30 minutes.Send in 750,000 Israeli troops along with the best air force. Keep 300-400 thousand for defense of the homeland while they take care of iran.

I sure do wish though that this wont happen and Iran will behave.

Israel has never even admitted that it has nukes 1 time(all speculation). And this is over 40 years now. So i dont think they have intentions to use them unles they are in serious trouble.

I saw in the news the other week Germany sold Israel some subs at a reduced price which can hole multiple warheads just to deter iran.

I dont think Israel would ever launch against Iran or anyone down in that region unless they were on the verge of extinction.
