Ordered the Incipio for $25
Can't believe I spent that much for a piece of rubber.
Turning into a big spender here....

I personally like UAG, though I have no idea if they make one for LG G2 or not.

in case it didn't go without saying, don't ever think of using the official LG smart-view flipcover. aside from being way too expensive ($50?), it actively leaves traces where it makes contact with your screen. it scrapes like a sheet of sandpaper. (I know this from seeing the result on someone else's phone, fortunately)

meh, for a $400+ device? yeah.
Besides if you destroy the otterbox the only thing needed for a replacement is two pictures of the damage emailed to them, they ship the replacement within a day or two. Nothing else needed, no stupid warranty paperwork, etc.

Also, i've dropped it a few times from 4-5 feet on to concrete without any damage to the phone, so im happy with it.

Got the Incipio Dual today. Not happy.

I did not notice the bezel was so slim.
I wanted a thick bulky bezel to protect from falls.

So, not only did I pay top dollar $25,
but I got something that didn't even meet my only criteria.

Fail.

I would gladly pay $40 to avoid what happened to my Note 2. Now I have the option of a new screen for $300 or a new phone.

The most recommended case, by far, was this Incipio Dual.
No idea why. It's no different than the $9 Tudia or Cruzerlite stuff.

You actually broke the digitizer/panel or just the glass? The higher-volume repair places (lots in cities, not sure where you live) have gotten really good with glass replacement using LOCA, and it should be well under $100. Just make sure they actually do use LOCA instead of some simple tape-down method.

Just the glass but haven't found a place that would do just the glass in northern Atlanta. Picked up an HTC M8 today and my try to fix and sell it.
