It's a 3-way tie between basketball, soccer, & hockey - I cannot stand any of them.

Baseball is the sport I enjoy watching the most.

Really, no matter what sport you like or dislike, you have to have a good understanding of the game to enjoy watching it on t.v. Like those of you who hate baseball, I'm sure you do not know or just don't care about the finer points of pitch selection. Or it's like when I had a good friend explain to me why he enjoys watching soccer, watching their footwork & passing skills, things which I never would pay any attention to. Same goes with hockey & basketball, I am not very knowledgable on offensive & defensive schemes.

I agree in some respects. But in many cases, the sport isn't nearly as good on tv as it is in person. Take hockey for instance. If you understand the rules, watching on tv isn't too bad. If you don't, it's not nearly as exciting. Either way, being at the game is fun.

I still don't see the draw to racing. I know people around here (im in the south) have some facination with it, but what is the interest in watching cars go around a track over and over? I will admit, I don't know much about the 'sport', but it's missing a lot of the elements that make other sports more enjoyable.
 
Golf


Any sport that heralds a half hearted clap as their show of support has to win this contest.

I'd rather watch paint dry.
 
I love college basketball, but I hate NBA. Could be a little more specific on the poll there 🙂

Overall, my least favorite sport to watch is NASCAR
 
I cant stand watching golf or racing on tv...i really dont like watching sports anyways.....Its either football or hockey.....thats pretty much it
 
Car Racing and Golf. I probably wouldn't enjoy watching horse races on tv either...but it is fun as hell to go see them live in person.
 
racing is number one. it is so boring watching a guy just drive laps. golf is also boring as it is a really slow game. my favorite is either tennis or basketball as they are very very fast-paced games that are interesting to watch.
