Most freightening e-bay feedback

Okie thanks.

I was looking thru half.com stuff and came across this feedback. I guess it helps to check deeper than just the feedback number. :Q I'm sure there are plenty more horrifying feedback ratings.

I always go through and look all the negatives and neutrals.

It would suck to get involved with guys like that.

Here's another terrible feedback record.
59 negatives and people still buy from him? Man oh man, there are some stupid people in this world.

What a freak. Stay away from people with any negatives. Sometimes a 1 out of like 25 is okay, because some people are just jerks, but I'd be weary of these sorts of people.

The second link in this thread is a little misleading. That guy had good feedback for about 2 months and then got 59 negatives in 2 DAYS. I doubt the people who bought from him even saw the feedbacks before it was too late.

Looks like he was a pretty good scam artist. People like this just make me sick.

Speaking of ebay, don't you hate it when you do everything right, you paypal them the money hours after the auction has ended and then when you receive your item you give them good feedback, and the bastards are too lazy to leave you feedback in return? :|

Heh, I'm actually one of the 59 people that left negative feedback for this guy. The auction isn't listed anymore, so let me tell you what happened. You'll notice the dates are from right around when the Dreamcast was released. The VMU's in the store were like $20 if I remember correctly. This guy had a dutch auction for 500 of them for like $10 each or something (can't remember the exact price, but it was cheap). I ended up buying 3 of them, expecting shipping to be like $4 or something. He writes back that shipping was $6 for EACH of them, meaning $18 to ship my 3 VMUs. The auction was set up as 'buyer pays actual shipping costs'. The big mistake the seller made was sending 1 bulk email to all 200 or so people that got in on the auction, so you saw everyone elses email address. People started just doing reply-all's saying that his shipping price was ridiculous and urging people not to pay it. I remember he ended up writing back some non-sense, still wanting $6 shipping/each. So someone suggested we all leave him negative feedback (since he lied in his auction that it would be actual shipping costs). So we all did, hence 59 negative feedbacks from the same auction. His account got quickly terminated or he'd probably have more. Lol, it was pretty funny though with all those angry people from the dutch auction mailing everyone.

also, i was wondering.... can you retract a feedback once you have given it to someone?? I thought it was permenent but I kept reading on one of those feedbacks that the guy kept wanting the other guy who gave him bad feedback to retract it....
