Most famous TV show on the 90's?

What would you say is the most well known/famous show of the 1990's? I am just talking about TV shows like ER, X-files, etc, not sitcoms. I would say The X-Files is the most well known show, with the biggest following. ER is probably next. What do you say?

What about the 80's? Dallas?

Are you on crack?😛 E.R. dwarfed the X-Files in viewers/ratings. Hell even 10 years later it still dominates most shows on the air right now. E.R. is easily the most recognizeable drama on TV from the past 10-15 years.

The X-Files had a cult following at best. E.R. consistently brings in at least 18-23 million viewers a week.

biggest show on in the 90's Baywatch. I kid you not, Baywatch was syndicated in more markets around the world than any other show in history.

seinfeld, duh

NOT sitcoms

I believe we're saying that Seinfeld is the greatest show of the 90's. It blows away about every other show in the 90's, therefore it should be recognized.

And we're saying that we're trying to figure out the most famous TV show of the 90's that are not sitcoms. I doubt there are any people who would disagree that Seinfeld is one of the most influential tv shows of the 90's (Simpsons is just as influential if not more so) but that's not what we're talking about in this thread

And I'd have to say Simpsons.

Exactly. There is no competition in my eyes. With 76 million people watching the final epsiode and excellent ratings throughout its run not to mention being down right funny I think it should be mentioned.
