If it makes you feel any better, they did one in Florida w/ college students as a season kick off show. The contestents were just as bad, and still dubbed over. Only two special guests (Tony Hawk and some snowboarding chick) weren't dubbed over.

From what I've seen, it looks like the show would be really fun to watch in Japan...the stupid English dubbing SUCKS though. Completely unfunny.

The Japanese get much better TV than we do.

The overdubbing is pretty funny most times. The stunts are good, and the tools they put on it are usually better. The costumes make me laugh cause they all look like clowns.

The english over dub is what makes the show work, with-out it , the show would a a lame version of FearFactor ,which is lame to begin with.

It eventually got cancelled when too many people got spinal injuries.

Haha, like that one guy who is running up to the boulders in the water, he tries to do a back-flip but lands on his fvcking shoulders/neck? LOL 😀

I like the show but tire of it easily. One of the announcers says "Right you are, Ken" approximately 42,000 times per episode and it REALLY gets on my nerves.

Funny show, but some of those injuries look horribly painful. Especially the one where they run over rollers and usually one or two ends up practically splitting their back!

sadly, i don't think american TV will ever be as cool as japanese TV. Our celebrities are too stuck up to ever go through what Japanese celebs do on TV over there... that and we're too afraid of lawsuits and people getting hurt. We're wussies.

It's incredibly stupid and incredibly hilarious. I wish there were some decent quality torrents of it; we don't get it over here.

The dubbing makes it so much worse. it could be interesting to just watch, but the damn translations just flat out suck, whose the damn writer for this.
