EVGA rocks, I like XFX for the black PCB's they use. I am shocked to hear your card's still covered even though you put aftermarket cooling on it. It says a lot about EVGA that they'll cover something that isn't their fault.

Nice. I must say that EVGA doesn't exactly come to mind when I think about quality video card vendors, but I've got to give them some props for this one. I've been thinking about buying an 8800GT or GTS; I'll keep them in mind.

Edit: Just to throw in my own contribution, I once fried a Commodore 64 way back in the day while working on a project to make a hardware reset switch for it. :D

Well that just means you haven't really looked into eVGA. BFG and eVGA were my choices when I bought my 7800GT. You can't warranty BFGs if you mod them, but eVGA lets you overclock and change coolers and what not. It's such a sick warranty I sold my BFG on eBay and bought an eVGA card.
