What's the most expensive thing you bought cash in hand
with no financing, checks, or credit involved whatsoever ?


For me, I think it was a car for $1800 ...

i paid 5k up front -- yes, all in cash -- for an apartment i rented after i graduated college. but for an item, i paid $250 cash for a sony clie nx70 in september of 2003 and i still love it
