On the stapler front, I was playing with a stapler while discussing something with a coworker and managed to get a staple through just one finger. Painful.

I was driving my jeep to my new apartment. With so much going on I was too lazy to fasten the hardware that holds the hard top on. I got up to about 30mph and the front started lifting off. Mind you this is a 100lb chunk of fiberglass and glass. I freaked out and threw my left hand up to catch it, but missed and grabbed the roll bar instead. As I slowed down the top came smashing back down on my hand. I thought I was gonna lose all my fingers.
