Audition

That movie was just fu**ed to a new definition of the word.

:disgust:

I thought I was the only one that saw that. That movie was pretty screwed.

What's it about?

actually I was wondering too, then I realized I had this one on my hd and hadn't gotten around to watching it.

2 hrs later (about 20 minutes ago), it has become one of the top 5 most disturbing commercially released films I've seen.

Amusingly I originally stopped watching after 15 minutes because I thought it was a romantic comedy. Boy was I wrong about that one.

All I can say is ouch.

Thanks for the review.

yes well, a plot summary doesn't mean much for a movie like this, but if you insist:

man is lonely, decides to find a woman by holding an audition a part in a movie that he doesn't really want to make. man finds woman, falls in love, she turns out to have some slight character issues.

Well it's not in the same class as salo, but in terms of commercial movies it's right up their.

I haven't seen all the freaky movies that are being talked about here but Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas put me in a pretty wierd mood. That was my worst until I saw Kill Bill

I still do want to see Ichi the Killer sometime...saw the preview and thought it looked even more gratuitous than Audition.

I think what's most disturbing about audition, though, is the fact that you don't really expect the last half of the movie. Like someone mentioned, it starts out almost seeming to be a romantic comedy. The friend who showed it to me said it was one of the scariest movies he'd ever seen. After watching, I told him he was a dick and that it wasn't scary...just one of the most disturbing and "holy hell...ewwwwww *shudder*" enducing movies ever.

Is the Audition worse then End of Days or Requiem of a Dream?

FUBAR, this movie is either brilliantly acted or the most bizzare reality. I didn't know whether to laugh, and when I did I was left with a disgusted after taste, or just be disgusted. It's not a frightening movie, just oddly disturbing.

Leonard Part 6

This is the worst movie ever. If memory serves correctly it is the only movie to ever win a Worst movie category, that was specially made for this movie. Hell, the thought of this movie still haunts me to this day, because I actually PAID to see it.

Honorable mentions: No order
Kazaam
8mm
Faces of Death - (I saw them all)
Queen of the Damned - (Ann Rice should of been as anal with this one)
U-Turn
Hulk
Seven
Meet Joe Black (when he get hit by the car)
