Moulan Rouge

I left the room and went to the bedroom to play with my 2 y.o. son after about 30 minutes of torture. I most likely would hve been driven insane had I been forced to sit through the entire film.

The BBC documentary "Threads", without a doubt. Suffice to say that if we ever have large-scale nuclear war like that, I'd hate to be one of the survivors...

Glitter.

On a related note, I watched Reservoir Dogs last night on the recommendation of ATOT and was pretty disapointed. I know I'm going to get crucified by the hordes of elitist Tarantino snobs with the old love it or hate it speech, but I don't think it really applies since I neither loved it nor hated it. The acting was great, the tipping scene was good, but moral was overdone and it played out like a cheap hamlet. I loved Pulp Fiction but this movie had neither the sharp dialog nor the quirky character development of that movie. The dialogue was brash and old by the end of the movie. I think it was to create tension but it really just got irritating. The violence was gatuitous but necessary to the plot, tastefulness was not my expectation from Mr. Tarantino. I'd give the film 2.5 stars, it was not very enjoyable to watch and did not justify that with anything to give it replay value save the acting, which was a little bit wasted on this plot, IMHO.

Faces of Death 1-4

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet. Has no one seen this or I am just really that f'ed up?

Maybe because it is banned now - I think. It's videos of real deaths...

Not movies 😉

I've seen a bunch of annoying films, or films hard to follow... but the one film I think that really gets the title "disturbing", or at least, the ending can only be described by the term "disturbing" is

Seven.

Loved the movie... I'll never watch it again because the ending was so... disturbing.

salo. hands down. no contest.

i've seen most of the movies listed here and none of them come close (even the faces of death videos) imho.

The first really hard-core porn flick I saw back in Jr. High School, as it was called in the old days. No idea what the name was. I still remember being AMAZED at the variety of things people did to each other and their assorted associates.
