Most days I hate Craigslist

For some reason some moron likes to flag my electronic ads and car parts for sale.I post them up and someone flags them all day long. I dont like this system where the public has the ability to remove your ads. What a joke. I am glad that there are other sites that do not allow you to do this. I guess this is more of a rant than anything else.

If you want to really hate CL, you should see the housing ads in NYC. Scams, brokers doing bait and switch crap, photos recycled (eg: an apartment in Queens has the same photos as one in Brooklyn), brokers posing as owners in the "by owner" section, filling ads with irrelevant keywords...

I basically never buy anything on Craigslist and nowadays don't sell anything either. Too much of a pain, both as a buyer and a seller.

For buying, it's too risky for cellphones - blacklisting, and for selling there are too many idiots trying to low ball with moronic comments like they're doing me a favour by taking it off my hands, or else buyers who agree to buy and then never show up at the designated meeting place.

BTW, that means I often give away my old cell phones these days to extended family members, and also have a huge collection of old computers.

I should probably do a Craigslist "curb alert" on some old computers I have.

Pentium 4 systems aren't really worth anything at this point.
