go US .. guess we like to win at everything

Like Korea?

If they keep it up, I am sure they are next.

I was referring to the first Korean War.

God, that's a scary thought... we're about to have a second Gulf War, and (possibly, but hopefully not) a second Korean War.

We only did not win the Korean war due to the political pressure of possibly starting a larger war with China.

Some how our 40k troops we have stationed over in SK is enough to keep 1.2 million NKs at bay.

I doubt that's the reason they're kept at bay.

Then what is the reason?

Then what is the reason?

The possibility of the US bringing a much larger force to bear upon them, plus the threat of pissing off the entire world community.

So what you are saying is that 40k US troops is enough to keep them at bay for 15-120 days while back up comes in. That is my point.

They should put up another poll: Which country is most likely to bend over and take it like a Frenchman in 2003?

My eyes have been opened. I never realized that we are so reviled and hated by the Canadian people. It must be terrible for them to carry that animosity and jealousy throughout their lives. I used to like Canadians. Now I feel nothing for them.

Nah, few sh!theads don't make entire country. If we could put up with our tree hugging liberals, we should be able to put up with misguided few.;)

So TIME asks you: which country poses the greatest danger to world peace in 2003?
Certainly the United States if by "world peace" they mean dictatorships being peacefully allowed to harbor, train and fund international terrorists. That was the "world peace" that gave us 9-11.

When Europe grows up, and aquires a brain and an army, then maybe we'll let them sit at the adult's table and offer their opinion on something other than how to appease a dangerous authoritarian state, something which they've proved themselves experts at.

And if it wasn't for the USA, all of Europe would be speaking German right now. How soon they forget on how to handle a tyrant.

Aye, and they make up for it by with diminished cranial capacity.

It's okay, though, not all Americans are arrogant or egotistical.

So you think the Taliban should have been left in peace to rule Afghanistan?

Don't forget that we also have the biggest piece of the pie and we mean to keep it by any means necessary.
