Most cost effective way to print 20,000 pages?

What is the most cost effective way to print 20,000 pages? They are all word documents, and mostly text. However, with a small-business printer like the one I have, although fast, it would need to be constantly re-loaded with paper and still take a full day or two to complete the job. This seems like too much work.

Is there an online service which allows me to upload word documents for printing? I can go to Kinkos, but considering the number of pages I need, they'd charge me a fortune.

Any suggestions?

There are cheaper local jobbers than Kinkos. Shop around. The alternative is do it yourself and expend the time, effort and resources. You need to quantify a value for that and then compare, and go for the best value solution. Online makes little sense - all that paper is heavy and will have to be mailed back to you - some day.

A local print shop is going to be your best bet, I would imagine. Grab the phone book and call a few places.

I third the local print shop option. That's what they do, support your local economy I say.

Go to the print shop. I've had to print about 50,000 pages before, and the print shop handled them beautufully

print shop FTW. your small business printer would most likely need 3-4 toner changes and might have complications.

try Office Max ... decent pricing ... usually better than the small print shops

check the "duty cycle" of your printer - the number of pages it is rated for each month ... i *have* printed out 20K pages ... it is the cost of paper + toner/ink + wear and tear + *time*
... and not a lot cheaper then OM ... ;)
