I'm looking for new sheets and pillow covers. I need a sheet that can handle a queen size mattress with a 3" topper. What are the most comfortable sheets and can you provide a link to a place to buy them?

Silk sheets, or 1000TC cotton sateen.

overstock has pretty good prices, and there is a 12% off coupon floating around too I think

I don't care for the jersey material myself, nor flannel sheets, but different strokes...
Do you have a linens-n-things or bed, bath, & beyond where you live? If so, you can get some pretty good deals there on high thread count cotton sateen sheets. Pay attention to the label however, and IMO, avoid "percale" which is usually polyester/cotton blend...

And if you go to one of those bed stores then make sure you use a copuon b/c they are overpriced. I get a 20% off 1 item in the mail almost every week and they all take competitors coupons.

Seconded. These are incredibly soft, even softer than higher threat count sheets.

I'm partial to flannel sheets myself, even in the summer... sorry but no link.
