Most boring products to sell...

The possibility was raised this morning that I am in the most boring market out there:
Packaging tapes/equipment

Nothing makes you droopy-eyed faster than the tensile strength/adhesion properties of 5,000 different tapes...

Any thoughts or competition for the title?

EDIT: So far, these are the worst 3 (IMHO, of course)
1)Fasteners
2)Resistors
3)Vacuum Bags

I like the packaging tape from 3m that you just rip with your hands. No messy blades, sharp surfaces, whatever. 🙂

I could see making that fun, though.

Good to hear 😀

fasteners. I have dealt with these suppliers, it must be the most boring thing ever. Screws, washers, locknuts, etc. etc.

adhesives are lot more exciting than one might think....peel and shear, polyken probe tack test...oh boy...
Yeah, what really gets me going is the biaxially oriented polypropylene film backing and elongation at break (especially when it's above 150%)

**hide the kittens**
:Q

At least with all that stuff you can say "here's what you can do with it". With resistors and capacitors, they just sit there.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

😀

selling anything unrelated to NASCAR, hunting, or country music would be pretty boring at a flea market.
