University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill...not only is the campus pretty, but we got the women too ;)

I was gonna say Pomona, but I've never been there. I've just heard it's amazing.

One of these doesn't belong with the others :D

Warsh U (as we call it here) has a great campus, SLU is pretty nice (especially their soccer field), and Lindenwood has some AWESOME trees; DUMPSL on the other hand is nothing too special.

I kinda like Queens University in Belfast. Not so much the campus, but the graduate housing ;)

Yeah, well, i've only got so much web space (and so many pictures that i didn't manage to screw up in some way). Here are a few more pics, maybe one of them will make you a little happier:

UCSB - UC Santa Barbara is the nicest college! I went there, but after checking out a lot of colleges, i think it's the nicest college out there. How can you beat a great looking school right on the ocean???

I'm biased toward UCLA. Too bad a lot of the buildings, especially in South Campus, don't match, in particular the engineering and science buildings.

UCSD has great scenery, but some of the buildings look like jails.

USC has a great campus, too bad it's surrounded by the ghetto.

UC Irvine is pretty bland. Cal state Fullerton is bland too. They are mostly functional campuses.

The University of Leuven in Belgium

That place was unbelievable. I believe its about 800 years old and they have castles and moats on campus as part of the school. It was by far the most amazing campus I've been to.

both universities i've gone too are quite nice.... penn state university park has some really pretty parts -- lots of trees and the area in front of old main is gorgeous in spring/summer, plus there are some really nice buildings (excepting one or two really ugly 70s mistakes, which every place has)
also, the university of york in england is situated around a huge lake (the campus is a wildlife reserve apparently -- there are definately plenty of ducks/geese/etc around) and lots of greenery.

as for ugliest? the university of leeds in the uk is quite unattractive; plenty of the aforementioned 70s architectural atrocities and maybe only one nice building and no nice grassy/treed areas to relax either. oh, and any college in northern nj that i've ever seen.

That's easy. Even Poe regarded it as the most beautiful campus there ever was.

Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Oh, and remember: Miami was a university before Florida was a state ;)

Miami U!

Hey! another Saint Louis member!

Heh, I've noticed the 'r' in Stl speech is more of a South County thing. Although I've known friends of mine to Warsh their clothes before. I'm not a native, so I don't have the accent.

So yeah, another Saint Louisan.

Have to second that! There is also a newer campus called "Louvain-la-neuve". It's also quite reputable, but only like 50 years old.

I am definitly gonna have to agree with the guys that listed University of Washington on their list. I have not been to many universities, but UW is defintily beautiful. The pacific northwest is wonderful in general. In just the state of Washington you have land ranging from ocean beach - island chain - rainforest (only one in the UW) two large moutain ranges, several smaller ones - desert - planes - and finally pine forest. The diverse area makes this state a very cool place to be. Not to mention BC (victoria, vancouver, and whistler) being just a few hours north.

Anyway, my wife has been to a number of campuses and decided this one was the best looking, which is good for me because this is where I met her. :)
