I also suggest the HD5770. Besides newegg, check ewiz, they are having coupons quite often that gives $10-$15 off across the board. The coupons are always advertised on their home page.

That HIS is tempting... If I had not bought 4 of the powercolor HD5770 PCs+ before I would be all over that :)

Okay. I'm going to keep an eye out on the 5770s. If one's on sale when it's time to buy everything that's I'll get. I tallied it up and I think I can swing one of the lower priced ones as long as it's not over 160. Just have to work an extra shift or two before I buy. Is there any brands I should avoid, or are they all about the same?

Warranties are different so if possible get something from XFX or Visiontek for the lifetime warranty. Otherwise I think most of the other brands are about the same at 2 years except Asus which normally gives 3 years (check since maybe different for a particular card) and has a better rep than most of the others.

I kind of doubt it would be on sale, but MSI has a lightning edition of these cards which use better components for overclocking. If you spot one though when buying it should have better quality and OCing than the others.
