Most anticipated console games of 2015

I'm mostly waiting for Mortal Kombat X. Probably biased since I think it is an April launch.

Of course, some here will say Halo. Obviously an anticipated title.

Any good PS4 racing games coming this year? It's probably the one thing I am still waiting for.

there isn't 1 game that REALLY excites me this year.

i'm hoping the new hot shots golf comes out this year though.

i was looking at the list of upcoming ps3/x1 games a week or so ago, and there is just nothing that jumps out at me at all in the near future. it was sad to see how many multiplatform and HD remakes there are coming out in the near future.

i'll get MKX, but only if the netcode is on par with killer instinct. otherwise i'm passing.

Yeah, Witcher 3 probably on PS4. I saw the PC specs and nearly had a heart attack.

I'm curious to see what The Order is about.

Oh, and of course Majora's Mask 3DS! I believe the new Star Fox is coming to Wii U this year as well.

PC: No exclusives, but if there's a Steam sale with them at low-enough prices, I'll probably look at picking up Civilization: Beyond Earth and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Wii U: Mario Kart 8's second DLC, for sure; Mario Party 10; Yoshi's Woolly World

Xbox One: The Division, Dying Light, Halo 5: Guardians, Treyarch's Call of Duty (maybe), Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Screamride

There are a bunch of others I'll maybe look at, but they'll depend on how much time I put into the above games. First up is Dying Light in 2 weeks, which I have high hopes for. I literally might just never bat an eye at anything with zombies ever again if that game sucks, haha.

Project Cars looks like it might be really good.

That being said, I'm really looking forward to a few more racing wheel options for my Xbox One this year. I played Forza 5 with the controller, and it wasn't nearly as fun as playing with a wheel.

Project Cars is March 2015. Nice.

Watched a video talking about car setup. It's a real simulator. Not an arcade simulator. I forget the terms. But Forza is arcadish. It has tuning you can do but it doesn't require real knowledge of racing. Project Cars looks like you will need to know alot of tuning. That sucks.

Too bad, I was hoping that it would be like Forza.

Just wathced a Gran Tourismo video. That tuning is more like Forza. Is the gameplay like Forza?

Those things would be a lot better if they offered legitimate, in-depth tutorials on how to adjust a car's setup. Otherwise, you just have people going in and either doing a setup copy-paste or playing with things at random without knowing how it will help.

It looks like it is getting into setting air pressure on tire. Spring tension for each wheel. Spring extension limits per wheel. It looks like you need to know how to do fine tuning.

I prefer Forza's .... I bought sticky wheels. I bought super sticky wheels. I have a spoiler now. Much easier to understand and quite honestly, I want simple fun. The tuning in Forza is fun because it is quick and doesn't require one to be a gear head. Just simple, good better best options to upgrade to while keeping the car in the desired class.

If they do release both in 2015, it will be a pretty stacked year for Nintendo. Though with so little third party support, I guess they kinda have to be constantly on their A game.

The Wii U needs it. If Zelda is released in 2016 it will launch on what is basically a dead console.

The problem is, what would they do in 2016 if both come out now? They can't possibly have another 3-4 quality things done in-house next year then, can they? I mean, they're pushing out Star Fox, Zelda, Mario Party, and Yoshi this year. They did Kart, Smash, a platformer, and Donkey Kong last year, with some other stuff I'm obviously forgetting. I'm just trying to think of what they'd have left to put out next year.

I can think of MAYBE getting us a Pokémon Stadium-like game, Fire Emblem (PLEASE), maybe some of the old sports stuff (golf, tennis, baseball, etc.), and maybe we'll hear announcement of a true 3-D platformer to succeed Galaxy.

The Wii downloading is a cool idea, but the console's storage is so tiny that it'll run out REALLY fast, meaning people are going to need external drives more than Xbox One users. I'm also curious as to why only the second Galaxy was announced. Do they not know I'm OCD and need the first one before I can play the second?

Yeah, they Motorsport ones basically launch in the same window as Halo, fall of the even-numbered years.

The Order 1886 looks good. If Star Fox or Zelda come out, that would be awesome.

I need a game that forces me to buy a PS4. One does not exist yet (keep in mind I have an XB1 so it would have to be an exclusive). I'm hoping The Order is badass enough to push me over the line.
