Yeah, I got nothing better to do at work. Only the most general and distinct ones are up there, if I missed any, tell me and I'll add it.

P.S. This is not meant to offend a particular ethnicity. Keep flames to yourself.

Definitely Indian...every time I have to call any of my service providers (cell phone, etc.) I just dread that voice on the other end of the line.

None of those get me as much as New York, Boston and Maine accents so I can't vote.

Nothing unnerves me more than a Sawx fan with a Bahston accent ;)

Indian and Chinese take the cake.
Russian can be bothersome, but that's only because I'm Russian myself, and it irritates the hell out of me, some people don't make a slightest effort at their pronunciation.

Russian cracks me up. I always want to ask them if they have seen moose and squirrel

You listed Texan, but the Southern accent in general drives me up the wall...especially since I live in TN. Everyone tells me I sound like I'm from Michigan, so I guess I don't have it.

I don't mind the "ya'll" words.... It's just the whole country twang, laziness in speech, and sheer lack of grammer that annoys me.

I actually spoke to some guy from Vancouver during work yesterday.

I thought he was joking. He sounded like he was from the movie Fargo.

"How are you aye?" "I want tou know aboot this aye?"

It wasn't really annoying, just amusing because I'm not used to Canadian accents.

I chose the black american one, b/c they butcher english grammer about the worst, but Scottish English is the hardest to understand, imho. I was in scotland a while back for a vacation, I was walking through the hills and stopped to chat w/ this shepherd, who I could have sworn was speaking German.

Oh, and don't most ppl spell it "Newfie"?

 Best post of the day!

I live in MS, but I am a Yankee. I think the Southern accent is one of the ugliest known to man. It's akin to those African languages where they use clicking sounds for word substitution.

It's not much of an accent anyway. Just a few words different here and there.

Female Eastern North Carolina. All the worst things about the Southern accent and incredibly shrill and nasal. Always seemed that the women over there talk louder than in other places too.

Most beautiful in US by far is Eastern Kentucky/Tennessee - it has a wonderful lilt to it, almost like Irish. It's why so many famous country singers came from there.

Black American is my least favorite. Ironically, Black African is my most favorite.
